DAY 1: ARUSHA
Meet at your arrival point and transfer to your lodge for pre-safari briefing.

DAY 2: ARUSHA – TARANGIRE – KARATU
Depart after leisurely breakfast to Tarangire National Park for game drives and lunch, a classic safari picnic. This park is famous for its massive elephant herds and its big baobab trees which gives the park its magnificent scenery. Late afternoon we zigzag to the crater highlands for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: KARATU – NDUTU
Drive towards Ndutu area in Ngorongoro. To experience the great wildebeest migration. A million wildebeest come to southern areas of the Serengeti & Ndutu during December through May and calve on the plains in February. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.

DAY 4: NDUTU
We enjoy a further exploration of Ndutu. The habitats are natural and we can game drive with a picnic lunch to explore further afield. We continue to track the breath-taking wildebeest migration with an annual movement of approx. 1.2 million wildebeest and 600,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomason gazelle. In the late afternoon, we return to Camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: NDUTU - NGORONGORO CRATER – KARATU
Short drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ngorongoro is collapsed volcano – an incredible natural amphitheater, 25 km across and teeming with all of the African big game. Early morning descent into the crater for spectacular scenery and game viewing in what has been described as the eighth wonder of the world. Return to the crater highlands for dinner and overnight.

DAY 6: KARATU - ARUSHA - BEYOND
After breakfast transfer to your advised drop off point.
